  • Students came to know the fundamental branches of Geography in general and Climatology in particular. 
  • Students acquainted with the climatological Concepts. 
  • Students understand the basis of Human development by studying these Physical branches of geography
B.A. II
Paper ‐ III SOIL GEOGRAPHY
  • Students came to know soil geography is the fundamental branch of Physical Geography.
  • They familiarize with the basic and fundamental concepts of soil geography.
  • Students understand soil is key resource for the development of any country.
  • Students understand the concept , causes and controlling factors soil erosion, soil degradation and Conservation of Soils
  • Students  came to know the concept, need and methods soil of management
  • They Understand classification, characteristics and distribution of soils.
Paper – IV,    Human Geography
  • Students  understand the Human Geography as a basic branch of Geography along with the Dichotomy Environmentalism and possibilism
  • Students understand the Racial groups in the world and man-environment conflict and Ecological Crises 
  • Students understand world population growth and distribution and it also aims to familiarize the students to the population policies.
Paper ‐V, OCEANOGRAPHY
  • Students came to know oceanography is the fundamental branch of Physical Geography.
  • They familiarize with the basic and fundamental concepts of oceanography.
  • Students understand marine is a key resource for the development of any country. 
  • Students came to know the physical and chemical properties of oceans. 
  •  Students came to know types of oceanic currents and currents of Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans. 
  • Students got information regarding hypsographic curve, a wind rose, iso-salinity lines and isotherms.
Paper VI, Agricultural Geography
  • Students understand the concept and development of Agriculture. 
  • They examine the role of agricultural determinants towards the changing cropping pattern. 
  • Students understand the Green Revolution. 
  • They familiarize the with the Agricultural concepts and modern technologies used in Agriculture.

Paper ‐ VII, Physical Geography of India.
  • Students understand the distinct dimensions of India. 
  • They understand the physical setup of the country. 
  • Students came to know the climate of India and mechanism of the monsoon of India.
  • They get information about soils and vegetation in India.
  • Students aware of the magnitude and nature of problem & Prospectus of national & state level on a geographical basis
Paper – VIII, Economic Geography.
  • The student understands the relationship of human activities with resources. 
  • They came to know the core part of the subject at the global level. 
  • They got knowledge about the global level situation and apply this knowledge at local level.

Paper ‐ XI, URBAN GEOGRAPHY
  • Students understand the basic of Urban Geography. 
  • They came to know about types of Urban Settlements, site & Situation. 
  • They got information regarding the relationship between human activities & urban development.
  • Students become capable of handling the present problematic situation in Urban and rural areas. 
  • They  will become a good planner and environmental Conservator
Paper No. XII, Political Geography.
  • Students acquaint with distinct dimensions of Political Geography.  
  • They  acquaint them  with the nature of political Geography
  • They are fully aware of the role of geographical factors in influencing the political character of countries/regions.  
  • Students understand the geopolitical issues in the world with special reference to  India.
Paper XIII (Practical Paper -I) Map work and Map Interpretation
  • Students understand the importance of map making & map Interpretation. 
  • Students understand the map, a concept of projection and concept of scale. 
  • Students trained about the analysis of landforms. 
  • They developed the skill of map Interpretation among the students. 
  • They got basic information to the students about S.O.I. topo maps and I.M.D. weather maps.
  • They familiarize with the different cartographic techniques and methods used for the representation of demographic and physio- socio-economic database.
Paper XIV (Practical Paper ‐ II) Advanced Tools, Techniques & Field Work
  • Students understand the importance of fieldwork & advanced Techniques in Geography. 
  • They trained in the application of modern tool & techniques in Geography. 
  • They aware of the skill of the instrumental survey. 
  • Students to understand the use of a computer for analysis of Geographical data. 
  • They got basic information about Arial Photographs, Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS.
