Course – Inorganic Chemistry (Paper I)

Course Objective
  • To improve knowledge of science in the basic objective of this program.
  • To understand scientific terms, concepts facts, phenomenon & relationship.
  • To provide, practical, experience to students.

 

Course Outcome
Students are able to:
  • Explain the atomic structure based on quantum mechanics & explain periodic properties of atoms.
  • Explain the structure & bonding in molecules lions & predict the structure of molecule/ions.
  • Are able to use modern library searching & retrieval methods to obtain information about topic, chemical, chemical technique or an issue, relating to chemistry.
  • Explain selected crystal structures, explain what kind of parameters that affect the crystal structure of a compound and perform calculations of the lattice enthalpy of ionic compounds.

Course Outcome
Students are able to:
  • Know the basic concept in analytical chemistry that includes basic terms symbols its helps to improve the chemistry knowledge in terms of analytical view. 
  • Correlate theory explanation and practical work. To solve environmental issues using advance instruments. 
  • Obtains information about level of chemical toxicity, symbols identification used in MSDS data.
  • Explain fertilizer composition and its type used in field work.
