Brief Description

The Course on ‘Human Values and Professional Ethics’

  1. Course Name : Human Values and Professional Ethics

The National Policy on Education has laid considerable emphasis on Value Education by highlighting the need to make education a forceful tool for cultivation of social and moral values. The college has started the course on ‘Human Values and Professional Ethics’ to increase awareness of different values in the students. The aim of the course is to spread Human Values and Professional Ethics in the society through the students.

2. Objectives : The main objectives of the course are as under:

    1. To create awareness, conviction and commitment to values for improving the quality of life of students through education.
    2. To inculcate culture of human values and moral values among the students.
    3. To acquaint the students with various professional ethics that would add on quality to their future career.

Practice: For the year 2018 the college constituted the course in Human Values and Professional Ethics. The implementation of which was as under. The course is made for all the students in the college. The program was implemented during weekly Monday Morning Prayer and lectures on some class. The faculty is provided with the list of selected human values and the teacher gives speeches on the topic allotted to them. More than 1000 students attended weekly Prayer.
