Bachelor of Computer Application

Brief Description

Department of BCA was established in June 2008 with the establishment of the college. The department runs B.C.A. – Bachelor of Computer Application, three year integrated course. Department has devoted teaching faculty to enhance the quality education.

Objective

• To communicate effectively computing concepts and solutions to bridge the gap between computing industry to create and initiate innovation.
• To make use of knowledge effectively to develop sustainable solutions to current and future computing problems.
• To disclose computing expertise within the computing community through corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or advanced graduate study.
• To develop and implement solution based systems that address issues and/or improve existing systems within a computing based industry.

Course Outcome

1. Focus on equipping students with foundational programming, software development, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to design, develop, and analyze computer-based solutions, understand modern tech trends, work with databases, create web applications, and apply ethical practices in IT. Graduates gain practical abilities in areas like C programming, data structures, web tech (HTML/CSS), databases (SQL), software engineering, and emerging fields like data analytics, preparing them for roles as developers, analysts, or for further studies.
2. Focus on Emerging Technologies & Analytics and Professional & Soft Skills.
3. Create Website , web pages & Database Competencies.

Program Outcome

The Student of Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) at the time of graduation will be able to experience and reveal –

• Insight in fundamental concepts, principles and theories of computer application.
• Information acquired through experiments, field work and research.
• Experiments that support the development of theory.
• Appropriate utilization laboratory and field work procedures.
• Interpretation of the results of experiments.
• Different computer based skills required for placement and successful carrier.

Program Specific Outcome

Students will able to understand, analyze and develop computer programs in the areas related to algorithm, system software, web design and networking for efficient design of computer based system.
